Why start young...

Mar 26, 2024

This video will turn 10 years old in August.

This was my first video ever that I appeared in front of a camera.

I started online a bit earlier than that, trying to make money by selling Amazon products as an affiliate, without having to show my face on camera.

So it’s been 10 years since I started.

I feel so lucky to have started so young.

It gave me the chance to fail miserably for long periods of time, and then eventually still make it work while being young.

I failed early, failed often and failed fast.

Which allowed me to get a lot of data of what worked and what didn’t.

It also allowed me to try a lot of different things.

And when you try many things, eventually you find something that you’re good at and everything takes off.

I remember telling myself:

  • “You’re 17, even if it takes you 3 years to make it work, you’ll be 20.”

  • “Even if it takes you 5 years to make it work, you’ll be 22.”

  • “Even if it takes you 10 years to make it work, you’ll be 27.”

Every scenario, where I struggled for years, would still lead me to get the life I wanted while on my 20’s.

So I never stopped putting in the work, because even the worst case scenario of taking 10 years to make it work, was still a great scenario.

People truly underestimate how much work and effort it takes to get results.

Everyone wants everything so fast and easy.

Sales immediately.

Money immediately.

Freedom and lifestyle immediately.

Obviously we all want that when we started out.

But momentum is built over time, after you repeat the universally-proven tasks over and over again.

By "over time" I don’t mean 4 weeks.

I don’t mean 4 months.

I mean 4 years.

So my best suggestion is to start as early as possible.

So you can get to your dream lifestyle as early as possible.

Procrastinating is only delaying your success more and more.

Start now and get used to the idea of failing horribly for 2-3 years.

Do all the things that you don’t want to do and stop chasing the quick dopamine.

You will realize you will still be young when you make it work and it will be more than worth it.
